hello. i have recently bought two vitaras both 1.6 8v. one is a doner (for now) and the other i got off ebay and need a bit of tlc. got it running the first couple of days and runs like a baby seems though not run for 18months or so, just thought i would just say aup.

it already has a 2inch body lift and 1inch suspention kit. but mainly at the moment its just getting it road worthy. started welding it up today, but hopefully wont be as bad as i appears. but that is never the occasion.

yes vary true. mine will be solid after a few hours (maybe days lol) of welding Laughing just found out i have to put clutch in it aswell.......... this sounds like its going to be a vary expensive journey

I'm pretty sure he got it from Calder Clutches in Brighouse, they're 40, I told him about them.

That Vit in your Avatar, did you get it from Holmfirth, it looks like it, if you did Calder Clutches is just 15 mins from there.

yes thanks to wilky for the info i got mine from Calder Clutches 40 for all 3 parts now thats a real bargain for a vitara clutch.
i drove up there to get mine then found out they do mail order so depending how far you are & how quick u need it might work out cheaper to call them & get it sent out

Cookie got one for 30, think it was a bank holiday or Sat morning, no gaffer on, just timed it right and got lucky, but at 40 they're cheap, they supply the same clutch kit to Andrew Pages and they knock them out for 180.

I went down easter holidays by chance 1 bloke there, he sold me it for 30 quid as wilky said.
Plenty of clutches for any motor down there.
